Ocean Explorer / Photographer / Waterman, William Winram is a 7x world record freediver with an equal passion for the sea and human potential. He uses his unique underwater breath-hold skills in aid of conservation-focused ocean research and to assist other humans on their journey to their full potential. Equally at ease below 145 meters (475 feet) on a single breath of air or side-by-side with great white sharks, he translates his experiences via a powerful combination of photography, film making and the art of storytelling. An accomplished corporate speaker and teacher, William captivates audiences world wide. He has been appointed IUCN Oceans Ambassador since 2013 and made Fellow International of The Explorers Club since 2018.

Professional freediver and world record holder William Winram with 20 years of deep diving experience attempts a dive like no other. Swimming up from the depths using only his legs, carrying 22 pounds (10 kilos) of weight in his hands... that means he can't use his arms, only his kick.... and what an incredible kick it is.
The dive was carried out using the highest safety standards, under the supervision of a freediving judge instructor and trained safety divers.

I freedive to spearfish. 50-60ft max. The Conditioning this guy has is Impressive far beyond me. I Guarantee he don't smoke,drink liquor, n has a well controlled diet to the dot on science.❤👍👍👍👍👍

you can hold your breath way longer than you think its just training your brain to not panic which is almost impossible when youre completely surrounded by water lol

i thought freediving meant swimming down and back up?
Yeah this looks more like freefalling in the water and swimming back up. I need someone to tell me if this is considered freediving, but until then I'm gonna call this guy a clown. That's not to say he didn't do something neat, but I just got off of a video of a guy swimming down to depth and swimming back up.
